What are Basic Piano Tuning Charges?

 

 

A basic piano tuning fee is $150.  If the pitch of the piano very low, it will need need extra work, pitch changes are $75.   If your piano has not been recently tuned you should expect the fee to be between $150 and $225.

 

How Often Should I Have My Piano Tuned?

 

If someone is playing or taking lessons, a piano should be tuned twice a year.

 

If no one is playing, it should be tuned at least once a year to keep it good shape.

 

How Long Does It Take?

 

 

Although an average tuning only takes about 90 minutes, we ask that you block out a period of at least 2 hours.
